Single Product Page vs. Link Directly to Merchant's Site

By Casey

Products that are imported using Datafeedr can display a Single Product Page when website visitors click on a product.

Example of a Single Product Page

This is the default setting.

Alternatively, you can choose to bypass the Single Product Page and link directly to the merchant's site.

When a website visitor clicks on a product on your website, it will instantly open the product on the merchant's website.

For instructions on how to link directly to the merchant's site, click here (opens in a new tab).

Each method offers its own advantages.

For example, Single Product Pages offer multiple benefits.

Bypassing the Single Product Page and link directly to the merchant's site offers benefits as well:

  • Less clicks are required for website visitors to make a purchase
  • Bypassing the Single Product Page can be more streamlined and efficient for website visitors

Either displaying Single Product Pages or linking directly to the merchant's site serve different, but functional purposes.
